Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Abby! I earned my undergraduate degree in Gender Studies and Psychology and my Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I began my career in community organizing and advocacy, which shapes my holistic, trauma-informed approach using evidence-based practices like TF-CBT and EMDR. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self.

My approach to therapy

I understand how larger systems and our social fabric often shape our individual experiences. In our work together, I believe that you have autonomy in your healing and my role is to support and encourage you through that. I offer a compassionate, grounded space where healing from trauma feels possible and change happens at your pace. Together, we’ll gently work toward clarity, relief, and a life that feels more connected and whole.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive space where we get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll explore your goals together and begin shaping a plan that feels safe, collaborative, and aligned with what you need.
