Great to meet you!

Hi there! I'm Deanna and am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have experience working with victims of trauma for the past 12 years. I have been working as a therapist for 4 years.

I enjoy working with young adults navigating burnout, social anxiety, perfectionism, first-generation stress, and generational trauma. Many of my clients are used to being the strong one, the responsible one, or the one who keeps going, often at the expense of their own emotional well-being.

I utilize EMDR, Psychodynamic, and Client-Centered approaches in my practice.

My approach to therapy

I aim to make your experience safe and nurturing. I work from a clear, supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space. I practice active listening and utilize open-ended questions to assist you in processing your emotions. I also like to incorporate humor in sessions when appropriate. I am also calm, genuine, consistent, and patient.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to genuinely connect. I invite you to share what inspired you to seek therapy and to provide some background about your journey. I welcome questions regarding my therapeutic approach. I understand that taking this step can feel scary, so I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment from the very beginning.
