Great to meet you!

Sometimes the thing weighing on you most is something you've never quite been able to explain to anyone else. I've spent more than three decades working with people carrying real weight: trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, across every stage of life. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and I take each person's history seriously on its own terms. My goal from the start is to understand the whole picture of who you are, not just the symptoms that brought you here.

My approach to therapy

Our work together starts by looking at the early chapters of your life. Not to dwell there, but to understand how those experiences may still be shaping how you feel and respond today. I help you make sense of those connections in plain language, not clinical terms. One thing clients often find surprising is that we can make real progress without requiring you to relive painful memories or walk through every difficult detail. We work toward moving past the places where you feel stuck, at a pace that feels manageable. Whether you're dealing with mood swings, intrusive thoughts, or a general heaviness that won't lift, we'll figure out together what's underneath it and what it takes to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first conversation is really about listening. I want to learn who you are, what brought you here, and what would feel like progress to you. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before we talk. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd be glad to connect.
