Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Denise and I love helping people work through the things in their life that cause discomfort. I have a background in work with folks in particularly difficult circumstances in settings such as court mandated treatment, homeless shelters, and County jails. I have training in trauma informed interventions and somatic therapies.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, with a focus on connection. I believe that the foundation of making progress in therapy is built upon the trust between the client and counselor.

What you can expect from me

During your first session you can anticipate a conversational approach where we get to know one another a bit and I begin to have an understanding of who you are as a person and what people and events contributed to who you are today.
