My approach to therapy

Donna takes an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. She draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and experiential techniques to help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session consists of identifying clear, broad goals for therapy, and discussing for each of the goals how the client's life will be different once they have completed therapy. The session will also include exploring the problem(s) that led the client to seek therapy and what their expectations are for the outcome.
