Great to meet you!

As a therapist who has done my own fair share of healing work, I like to work with people to help them create the kind of life they want to live. I see adults of all ages regarding a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, life transitions, life stressors & identity exploration. I've been in private practice more than three decades so I've worked with a wide variety of additional types of issues. It's almost as if I've heard every issue that might exist.

My approach to therapy

I’ve been described as being relatable, empathic and understanding. I believe the most important aspect of therapy is the connection you have with your therapist. My approach to therapy includes the processing and healing of painful experiences, unfolding your personal narrative and transforming emotions to reach a more empowered, self-aware, and cohesive sense of self. My therapeutic approach also incorporates aspects of structural family therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Both in my online therapy practice and for my in-person clients in my office, I strive to provide a warm and inviting space where clients can feel safe as they work towards emotional healing.

Through our sessions, we will work together to make sense of what's been happening in your life. At each session I try to provide practical ways to help clients heal, cope and reconnect with their authentic, core selves in a way that leaves them feeling more empowered.
