I am licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland and DC with 27 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without judgment. The focus of my work is from trauma-informed approach utilizing strength-based and empowerment approaches.

My approach to therapy

I incorporate CBT, DBT and ACT with somatic approaches to teach skills to improve coping and decision making skills and the overall quality of your life. I also utilize ART accelerated resolution therapy using eye movements to replace negative images and process trauma effectively. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

What you can expect from me

I teach somatic approaches to improve coping skills and decision making skills. I utilize body scanning and emotional IQ with mindfulness and grounding exercise that clients can use outside of sessions.
