Great to meet you!

I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2018 and have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2020. I specialize in working with Asian American individuals who are navigating identity development, family relationships, cultural expectations, and boundary-setting.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in psychodynamic and person-centered principles, which means I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and move toward meaningful change. I believe therapy should be tailored to your unique needs and goals, and I work collaboratively with clients while meeting them where they are in their journey.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will explore what brings you to therapy, your goals, and your desire for change. We'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing your current challenges, strengths, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. By the end of our session, you can expect to leave with a better understanding of your concerns, some initial insights, and practical strategies or reflections to begin working on between sessions.
