Great to meet you!

I bring my experience as a writer, an educator, and a school counselor to my vocation as an LPC. These previous careers have helped me understand the power of each person's story and lived experience. Helping people solve their problems and work through their pain is an honor and privilege.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach to counseling, believing that healing and growth happen in the safety of a strong therapeutic alliance. I work closely with my clients to learn what they hope to gain from our time together, and then I try to tailor their sessions to meet those goals.

What you can expect from me

I offer clients evidence-based strategies to help them cope with problems. I love exploring articles and books related to their specific issues with them so they can be informed and empowered about how to approach them. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, process their experiences, and construct meaning in their lives.
