Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I completed my MSW at Columbia University in 2023, and have been working with adults in various settings since then. Prior to attending graduate school, I was active in the outdoor/experiential education field and worked as a wilderness therapy field guide. I value authenticity, trust, and collaboration—and I view therapy as a space where you can bring your full self without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in relational psychodynamic therapy, which means I view the therapeutic relationship as a powerful tool for healing and insight—together, we’ll explore how your past experiences and relational patterns shape the way you move through the world today. In our work together, I’ll integrate approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to meet your unique needs. Clients often describe my approach as authentic, down-to-earth, and infused with gentle humor. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and human—deep work doesn’t have to feel rigid or clinical. I also value the mind-body connection and love integrating elements of yoga philosophy, breathwork, and somatic awareness into sessions when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where as we begin getting to know each other. I take time to build an understanding of your current biopsychosocial functioning—how your emotional, physical, social, and environmental factors are intersecting in your life right now. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping to gain, and what has or hasn’t been helpful in the past.

I view the first few sessions as a process of mutual discovery: I’m learning about you and your unique story, and you’re getting a sense of what it feels like to work with me. My goal is to help you determine whether I’m the right fit for your needs and to start identifying meaningful goals for our work together.
