Great to meet you!

My name is Emma Savage (she/her), and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with experience working with college-aged individuals and young adults. I specialize in helping people navigate life transitions, manage anxiety and depression, improve relationships, and explore self-identity. I also have experience working with survivors of intimate partner violence and those who’ve faced challenges with self-esteem, grief, and loss.

My approach to therapy

I take a relational, psychodynamic approach to therapy, blending deep exploration with practical tools. My focus is on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and empowered to dig into the patterns, emotions, and behaviors that shape your experiences. I believe therapy should be collaborative and work at a pace that’s comfortable for you, honoring your values and unique story as we go.

What you can expect from me

Clients often tell me they leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and a little lighter. During our first meeting, we’ll focus on building rapport and creating a space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. My goal is to get to know you, understand what brought you to therapy, and discuss the goals you’d like to work toward. Many clients describe our sessions as feeling like a conversation that brings fresh insights and growth - exactly what I hope to offer each time we meet.
