Great to meet you!

Clients often tell me they appreciate my calm, thoughtful, and non-judgmental presence. I work collaboratively and at a reflective pace, creating a space where you can explore emotions and creativity without pressure to perform or “get it right.” Music is always an invitation, not a requirement. My goal is to help you feel understood, supported, and more connected to yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, relational, and insight-oriented. I draw from music therapy, psychodynamic, and humanistic traditions, using both conversation and musical experiences to support emotional exploration and self-understanding. Music can offer access to feelings that are difficult to reach through words alone. Sessions are flexible and guided by your goals, comfort level, and pace, with an emphasis on safety, curiosity, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily a time to talk and get to know one another. We’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any past experiences with therapy or music. Musical experiences are not required in the first session; instead, we begin to identify how music might be helpful moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable, understood, and clear about next steps.
