Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist, passionate about helping clients navigate life's challenges through integrating their faith with clinical models. I examine clients' circumstances through a trauma-informed and systemic lens. Some of the clinical models I employ include-- but are not limited to-- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, and Child-Centered Play Therapy.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, collaborative approach to treatment, pointing out discrepancies and empowering clients to make their own decisions that honor their personal values. I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of issues, such as relationship challenges, addictions, eating disorders, etc.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients will engage in an intake assessment, where they acknowledge the challenge(s) they are navigating and the various ways that challenge is impacting their life. The client will then identify what they hope to accomplish through therapy. Therapy goals may include improving thought patterns, achieving behavioral change, increasing emotional intimacy, improving interpersonal skills, or resolving attachment issues, etc. I will then explain a therapy model that I believe can assist the client in meeting those goals. We will map out some of the areas we will address in future sessions.
