Great to meet you!

I have been working in the mental health field since 2011, as a clinician in community based organizations and private practice settings, and teaching. My specialty is working with teens and adults, with a focus on queer, trans and/or disabled youth with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My approach to therapy

I have specialized training in treating complex trauma and trauma-related disorders (Progressive Counting and Child & Parent Psychotherapy). I am undergoing training for EMDR. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent and disabled teens and adults. . I use an eclectic approach, often drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, narrative, and somatic modalities in my work. In my work with teens and adults,

What you can expect from me

I am passionate about providing equitable and competent care. I believe that the act of receiving therapy is inherently political and politicized, one that has potential to support systemic forms of oppression. I believe it is the duty of therapists to be aware of these systems and use personal and professional awareness of their own privileges to identify power imbalances and interrupt cycles of systemic oppression to the best of their ability.
