Great to meet you!

I’m a fully licensed therapist offering in-person therapy in Charlottesville and virtual therapy across Virginia. I specialize in working with thoughtful adults, college students, young adults, and parents navigating high-functioning anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, trauma-related experiences, and relationship or family stress, especially during life transitions.

Many of the people I work with feel like they’re holding everything together on the outside while feeling anxious, exhausted, or emotionally stretched inside. My work is grounded in deep respect for your experience and the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel safe, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, relational, and paced with care. Together, we slow things down and explore what’s underneath your current struggles, including how past experiences and relational patterns may be showing up in the present.

Our work often includes processing past experiences, understanding patterns in relationships, and supporting your nervous system so you can feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to yourself.

I integrate EMDR, attachment-based therapy, Parts Work (IFS), and somatic approaches in a flexible way, tailoring each session to what best supports your needs, especially when working through anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and life transitions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll begin getting to know what’s been feeling most difficult for you and what you’re hoping will change. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll talk through what’s been weighing on you at a pace that feels comfortable.

Many people I work with are navigating high-functioning anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, or relationship stress, often while appearing to be managing well on the outside. There will be space for you to ask questions, understand how I work, and see whether it feels like a good fit.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and clearer about next steps.
