Great to meet you!

I battled my own addiction to drugs and alcohol, which ultimately lead me to Social Work and helping others. I have personally seen the dark places where hope is hard to find.

After getting my MSW I have worked with teens, adults and currently work with veterans as a substance abuse specialist on a housing first team.

I have been doing individual therapy through online portals for about three years now. Addressing issues of stress management, anxiety, depression, family and relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and client lead, helping clients to make the changes they want to see in their lives. I continue to explore new treatment modalities and interventions to be able to best help my clients.

What you can expect from me

Sessions with me will start with an emphasis on rapport building to ensure you feel comfortable and understanding what you would like to achieve. I provide empathetic listening and support and will challenge you with open-minded thinking. I will encourage you to use empowered thinking and will be there for you as you work towards you goals.
