Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, relationship challenges, difficult life transitions, or past experiences leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about your next steps. I provide a warm, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with honesty and compassion while developing practical tools for growth and healing. My approach is collaborative, insight-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs and goals. For clients who desire it, I also welcome conversations about faith and spirituality and can thoughtfully integrate these important aspects of identity into the counseling process.

My approach to therapy

With over 20 years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their experiences openly and honestly. Clients often describe me as compassionate, approachable, and easy to talk to, while also appreciating my ability to gently challenge unhelpful patterns and support meaningful growth. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual's unique needs, drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), insight-oriented therapy, and trauma-informed practices.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in survival mode, overwhelmed by anxiety, relationship challenges, perfectionism, life transitions, or the lasting impact of past experiences. Together, we work to increase emotional awareness, strengthen boundaries, cultivate self-compassion, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful, lasting change. For clients who desire it, I also thoughtfully integrate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process, honoring these important aspects of identity as sources of meaning, healing, and growth.

What you can expect from me

I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create an environment where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard from the very beginning. During our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore the challenges you're facing, and identify what you hope will be different as a result of our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once; we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we'll begin developing goals and a personalized approach that helps you better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move toward the changes that matter most to you.
