I am a licensed nurse practitioner who has been working in an inpatient psychiatric environment as both a provider and previously a nurse for 9 year cumulatively. I’ve worked with individuals in need of complex intervention to those who are more able to participate independently in their care.
I’m a strong proponent for meeting individuals where they are at and building care plans based on patient report and expectations. My aim is to build a trusting relationship with a foundation of open communication.
From the first interaction my goal will be to develop an understanding for individual expectations for treatment as well as identifying any previous experiences that may assist in guiding future engagement.
