Great to meet you!

As your therapist, you will find that I am warm, compassionate and direct. You'll quickly see that I am not here to judge you and am here to support you to explore yourself and your beliefs. Over time, we'll work together to rewrite stories that are no longer serving you. I will help you feel empowered to come back to feeling content and like you're treating yourself with the kindness that you show other people. I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient, community mental health, community college and private practice. I have over 10 years of experience providing therapy to help adults and adolescents feel better within themselves.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic treatment approach to help you explore yourself and your beliefs. Some of these approaches include mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, Motivational Interviewing and ACT. I also help people improve their relationships and communication, which includes holding boundaries. I ask questions to help you explore yourself and also highlight your patterns to you in a non-judgmental way.

What you can expect from me

You'll feel lighter and more hopeful. We will also work together to determine what you want to work on in therapy and set goals for counseling. Since it's insurance based, I'll also determine a diagnosis and we can discuss how well you think it fits.
