Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed therapist in Maryland with over a decade of experience walking alongside people through some of life's most challenging moments—big life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and the ups and downs of relationships. I've worked in all kinds of settings, from community mental health centers to schools to residential programs, and I've also spent the last couple of years mentoring and supervising newer therapists as they find their footing in this field.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me hiking, playing board games, hosting get-togethers, or spending time with family and friends. I'm also deeply passionate about mental health advocacy—breaking down stigma and making sure quality care is accessible to everyone, especially people in communities that have historically been overlooked.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely safe, seen, and respected—so that's exactly the kind of space I create. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and centered entirely around you. I draw on a variety of proven techniques, including talk therapy that helps you reshape unhelpful thought patterns, mindfulness practices, and play-based approaches for younger clients. But I never use a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I tailor our work together to fit your story, your goals, and your pace.

Whether you're a teen, an adult, a couple working on your relationship, or even a fellow mental health professional looking for support, I'll meet you where you are. I focus on collaboration and empowerment—helping you uncover your own strengths and build real, lasting change from the inside out.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want to make it as comfortable as possible. In our first session, there's no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you're ready to. We'll spend time getting to know each other—I'll want to hear what brought you in, what you're hoping to work on, and what's been weighing on you. I'll also share a bit about how I work so you know what to expect going forward.

My goal for that first session is simple: I want you to leave feeling heard, a little lighter, and confident that you're in the right hands. Healing happens in relationship, and I'm honored to be part of yours.
