Great to meet you!

As your provider, my goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without feeling judged. I aim to meet you where you are, listen with intention, and work with you in a way that feels collaborative—not one-sided. Your experiences, values, and goals matter, and I want you to feel heard and respected throughout the process.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), as well as a Master of Science in Nursing emphasis in Public Health (MSN-PH) and Doctorate degree, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CRNP-PMHNP-BC). My educational background, combined with my clinical training, allows me to provide comprehensive, evidence-based mental health care while continuing to grow in my knowledge and skills.

My professional experience has given me the opportunity to work with diverse populations, and I’m especially mindful of how culture, life experiences, and environment can impact mental health. I take a holistic approach to care, recognizing that each person’s story is unique.

I’m particularly interested in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional regulation. I also enjoy supporting young adults who are navigating personal growth, identity, and relationship challenges. I focus on understanding the whole person—not just symptoms—and use evidence-based strategies while keeping treatment practical, relatable, and tailored to your needs.

I’m committed to ongoing learning and self-reflection so I can provide care that is culturally responsive and supportive for all individuals. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being open, while also helping you build tools that you can use in your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered, collaborative, and holistic. I focus on understanding you as a whole person—not just your symptoms—by considering your background, experiences, environment, and goals. I believe that effective care starts with building trust, so I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being open.

I work collaboratively with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs and preferences. I use evidence-based practices, including medication management when appropriate, along with therapeutic techniques that are practical and applicable to your everyday life.

I also approach care with cultural humility, recognizing that each individual’s identity and life experiences play an important role in their mental health. I remain mindful of this in every interaction and stay committed to ongoing learning and self-reflection to provide the best care possible.

My goal is not only to help manage symptoms but to empower you with the tools, insight, and support needed to improve your overall well-being and quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know you. We’ll talk through what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping to get out of treatment. I’ll ask questions about your mental health history, medical background, lifestyle, and any current concerns so I can get a full picture of your needs.

This is also your time to ask questions and share anything you feel is important. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to share more than you’re comfortable with—we’ll go at your pace.

If appropriate, we may begin discussing a treatment plan, which can include therapy approaches, coping strategies, and/or medication options. My goal is to make sure you leave the session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer idea of next steps.

Overall, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we start building a plan that works for you.
