Dr. Isabel Velásquez is a licensed psychologist who completes comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental evaluations for children and adults ages 5 to 22. She also provides individual therapy for children and adolescents and collaborates with parents for behavioral management purposes across the home and school environments.
Dr. Velásquez utilizes an integrative client-centered approach where she uses various evidence-based practices to best support the needs of each individual client. She has experience with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), individual treatment components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), executive functioning skills training, motivational interviewing, behavior modification, family systems, and psychoeducation.
Her service goal is to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and promote overall safety and well-being.
