I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 7 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I am Prepare/Enrich certified (premarital counseling), Level 1 Gottman trained (couples), Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) trained, and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) trained. I'm also trained in working with First Responders, Human Trafficking Survivors, Domestic Violence Survivors, and Play Therapy trained for children and adolescents.

Dr. Rahonie Persaud Evans, DNP, is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a postgraduate certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health. She has experience working with patients experiencing life transitions, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. She is also experienced in several areas of medicine, including IM, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology.

Dr. Torres is originally from Peru and completed her training in the United States. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and her Doctoral degree from the University of Alabama. Dr. Torres completed her predoctoral internship at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital and her post-doctoral fellowship at the Pain Research and Intervention Center of Excellence (PRICE) in Gainesville, FL. Dr. Torres is also a pain researcher and part-time faculty member at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has published articles focused on pain disparities, pain inequities, and is a co-author of the treatment manual for pain management Learning about Managing My Pain (LAMP). She is active in national organizations and is the founding chair of the Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-racism SIG at the US. Association for the Study of Pain (USASP).

Dr. Strom was born and raised outside of Seattle, WA before she completed her Bachelors degrees in Psychology, Mathematics, and Philosophy at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. She first came to Florida for her graduate training at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), where she earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Integrated Behavioral Healthcare. She has been a part of the Gulfshore Behavioral Health team since January 2023.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Strom enjoys cooking, baking, sewing and other crafts, exploring new restaurants and local activities, practicing yoga, traveling when possible, and spending time with her dog and partner.
