My experience includes facilitating group therapy and working with diverse adult populations in recovery. Hi, I’m Deandra, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and EMDR-trained therapist with over 13 years of helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, and life’s tough transitions. My approach blends evidence-based techniques (like EMDR and CBT) with genuine compassion—because therapy shouldn’t feel cold or clinical.

After earning my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, I worked in various settings including: private practice, domestic violence centers, hospitals, elementary to high school education, on-call crisis, detention and rehabilitation centers, specializing in women's and men's health, survivors of trauma, LGBTQ+ folks, or high-achievers battling burnout. I became EMDR-trained in response to the Pulse Night Club Tragedy in Orlando.
