I have special expertise in working with survivors of trauma, abuse and interpersonal violence, and I have a particular interest in working with gender, sexual, and relationship minorities (e.g., LGBTQ+, kink).

I work largely with individuals who have an interest in learning more about themselves and the relationships they have with others. As an emotion-focused, process-oriented, and client-centered therapist, I strive to meet my clients where they are in all aspects of their day to day functioning before helping them see what they could become. I am also an avid college football and professional hockey fan, a devoted husband, and proud dog father to our two Siberian huskies.

I am also a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida. I received my doctoral degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and completed my internship at the University of South Florida Counseling Center. I then went on to complete my post-doctoral fellowship with the Tampa Bay Center for Relational Psychology. Prior to that, I earned master’s degrees in clinical psychology from both the University of Central Florida and the Florida Institute of Technology. I also completed my bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida. Over my career, I have worked in college counseling centers, inpatient crisis units, substance abuse treatment centers, family counseling programs, autism treatment facilities, child assessment clinics, private practices, and community mental health centers.
