Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals through emotional challenges, life transitions, and personal growth. My background includes working with diverse populations across various settings, allowing me to bring both clinical expertise and real-world understanding into the therapy space. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, integrating evidence-based practices while honoring each client’s unique experiences and values. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to heal, grow, and move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and client-centered. I integrate evidence-based practices to help clients build insight, develop practical coping skills, and increase self-awareness, while honoring each person’s cultural background, values, and lived experiences. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and actively involved in their growth. I focus on helping clients create meaningful, sustainable change that aligns with their goals and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive space focused on understanding who they are and what brings them to therapy. We will do a deeper exploration of your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and stressors to gain a fuller picture of your needs. I will also explain the therapy process, review confidentiality and expectations, and collaborate with you to identify initial goals for treatment. While the first session is a deep dive, it is paced intentionally, allowing space for questions, comfort, and clarity as we begin building our therapeutic relationship.
