Great to meet you!

I believe that going to therapy is a radical act of self-care. From my perspective, we heal through relationship. My deep engagement with you will uncover thoughts and feelings that may be affecting your moods, your relationships, and decision-making. We will talk about your current situation, your present life, and your family of origin. When you are more in contact with your whole self, you will find it easier to deal with life’s ups and downs, navigate love and work, and feel your sense of purpose and aliveness. It is important to understand that therapy is not a quick fix. That being said, you will likely feel some weight off your shoulders right away. In therapy, you have someone to attend to your particular needs.

My approach to therapy

I deeply and comprehensively support young adults, middle-aged adults and seniors navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management challenges, including depression, panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I work with individuals experiencing grief and bereavement, end of life issues, infertility, chronic conditions and other health-related disabilities that impact emotional well-being. My practice also supports clients living with bipolar disorder (also known as manic depressive illness), attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD), alcohol and substance abuse concerns, anger management and impulse control difficulties, and complex family or relationship issues.
