Great to meet you!

Offering direct, compassionate therapy that turns awareness into real-world change. Are you a perfectionist or a high achiever who struggles to get out of your own way? Are you motivated and ready to make transformative changes in your life? Maybe you’ve been in therapy before, but still feel stuck or unsure how to use the tools you’ve learned. Great news - you’re not alone! I work with people who are ready to move beyond insight alone & make meaningful, sustainable changes in their lives.

A graduate from Dartmouth College, I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Minnesota, Virginia, and New York with over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and identity backgrounds. I take a holistic, integrative approach, blending evidence-based talk therapy with mind–body and mindfulness-based practices. As an INFJ and Enneagram 4, I bring empathy, depth, and curiosity into the therapy space while keeping our work grounded and goal-oriented. I value therapy that is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and focused on real-world application, rooted in both insight and action.

Clients often seek my support for anxiety, stress, depression, childhood trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, codependency, attachment and relationship concerns, anger management, grief and loss, and sleep difficulties. Treatment is always tailored to your unique goals, values, and pace—there is no one-size-fits-all approach.

If you’re ready to take the next step, learn practical tools, and make strides toward change, I’m here to encourage, support, and empower you along the way.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is an active process. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and direct. I offer a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space while remaining honest and solution-focused. I believe therapy works best as a partnership—one where you feel accepted as you are, challenged when helpful, and empowered to grow. I’ll ask thought-provoking questions, offer feedback, and challenge unhelpful patterns when needed. Together, we’ll identify what’s keeping you stuck and develop practical tools you can use outside of session. If you’re motivated to change and willing to do the work, we may be a great fit!

One of my primary modalities is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a short-term, evidence-based approach that helps you recognize and shift unhelpful thought patterns, enabling you to change behaviors and emotional responses. The goal is not just to feel better during therapy, but to build skills you can continue using long after therapy ends, so you can become your own support.

Depending on your needs, our work may also include CBT-I, TF-CBT, DBT, solution-focused and strengths-based therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and ACT, along with tools such as yoga-informed practices (CYT-200), breathwork, relaxation techniques, mindfulness, and progressive muscle relaxation.

For clients new to therapy, keep in mind it may sometimes require stepping outside of your comfort zone, but it does get easier with time. Remember, I am there every step of the way to help guide and support you!

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will spend some time getting to know each other and building a rapport. Clients can expect to be deeply listened to, respected, and supported as they process emotions, thoughts, and patterns. Insight and clarifying questions are focused on personal goals with mental health in mind. I will gain more information about you, your demographics, background, and your concerns and goals for therapy, as well as explain what you can expect from our time together. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. If time allows, we will create an individualized treatment plan with specific goals to work on and, if needed, a safety plan to ensure you have available support at all times. If you are a teen, only the first session is with your guardian(s).
