Great to meet you!

I offer a warm, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy, grounded in empathy and tailored to your unique needs. I specialize in anxiety, depression, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), substance use, and eating disorders. Using modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, I support clients in creating meaningful, lasting change. My focus is on helping you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work toward your goals at your pace. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or pursuing personal growth, I'm here to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, integrative, and client centered. I draw from evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—depending on what best aligns with your needs and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when built on a strong therapeutic relationship, so I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Together, we'll identify patterns, build practical coping strategies, and work toward lasting emotional and psychological well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and judgment-free space to begin sharing your story. I’ll ask questions to get to know you better—your reasons for seeking therapy, your current challenges, and any goals you have in mind. This session is also about building comfort and trust, so you’re free to go at your own pace. We’ll discuss what therapy might look like for you, and I’ll share how I can support you using evidence-based approaches like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, or ACT. It’s the first step in creating a partnership focused on your well-being and personal growth.
