Great to meet you!

Hello, Hello! My name is Jay (they/she), a non-binary therapist practicing on the westside of Cleveland. I hold a Bachelor’s in Art Therapy (Ursuline College), a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CSU) and in my 3rd year as a professional therapist. I've spent majority of that time working within the LGBTQ+ community. My primary focuses of treatment include anxiety, depression, PTSD, neurodivergence (ADHD, ASD, OCD, SPD, ect.) and sex/intimacy. I love to work with individual and partnered folx for gender and sexual identity exploration, relationship and parenting navigation, symptom management, and T/trauma processing. I strive to create a safe environment and a healthy therapeutic relationship to navigate towards agreed on goals.

I am gender-affirming and kink-knowledgeable clinician, and you are welcomed and wanted here. 🏳️‍🌈

Who I am: just a little background about me that I find to be helpful when choosing a clinician. I am a solo parent to a pre-teen, a new business owner, and also a proud pet parent (4 kitties, 1 puppers). I love to spend time outside, go to markets, and have new experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is pulled from multiple evidence-based methods, striving to create an experience that is individually tailored, practical, and deeply collaborative. I see both individuals and partnerships, with intention to identify unhelpful patterns, shift thoughts, and build skills to improve navigation of everyday life. I lead with compassionate curiosity, and I truly believe the most beneficial outcomes happen when one feels genuinely seen, safe, and supported consistently throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

You can expect our first session to be warm and inviting. I hope to provide you a safe space and an opportunity to be heard with undivided attention and no judgement. Our first session will be intentionally spent to get to know one another, exploring different parts of your life, and identifying focuses for therapy. I lead with curiosity and have sincere interest in learning about you.
