Great to meet you!

I am a double board-certified psychiatrist in both child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. My practice is inclusive of individuals across the lifespan, providing comprehensive care tailored to each stage of life. I have a special interest in treating trauma, ADHD, LGBTQ+ mental health concerns, and sexual health. My approach is compassionate, affirming, and grounded in evidence-based care to support each patient’s unique needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, patient-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I work to understand each individual’s unique experiences, values, and goals, and tailor treatment accordingly. I integrate biological, psychological, and social perspectives, with particular attention to trauma-informed care. My areas of focus include ADHD, trauma-related conditions, LGBTQ+ mental health, and sexual health, and I strive to provide an affirming, inclusive space where patients feel seen and respected.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share your story at your own pace. We will review your history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. Together, we will begin to identify priorities and develop an initial plan that may include therapy, medication management, or both. Clients can expect to leave the session with a clearer understanding of next steps and a sense of partnership in their care.
