Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jennifer - a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting children, youth, families, and young adults. I have specialized experience working with young people who are experiencing suicidal ideation though my practice is not limited to this area. I know that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that step feel met with warmth, understanding, and collaboration. My approach is warm and collaborative, guided by you because I believe you are the expert on your own life. Creating a space where you feel comfortable, seen, and heard is always my top priority.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-led — I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you. I draw on evidence-based modalities including Narrative Therapy, DBT, and CBT, but above all, I prioritize building a genuine relationship with you and letting you take the lead in your own healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is simply to get to know you who you are and what's bringing you to therapy. We'll spend time exploring your goals and any challenges that might be getting in the way of where you want to be. There's no pressure to have it all figured out; this first meeting is about building connection and making sure you feel comfortable. You set the pace.
