Great to meet you!
Hi there, I'm Jen. I know that life can feel overwhelming, even when you are doing everything you can to hold it all together. After more than 20 years as a clinical social worker, I've learned that most people come to therapy because life has become harder than they expected, and what used to work isn't working anymore.
I enjoy helping people navigate life's transitions whether you're adjusting to a move, changing careers, or wondering what is next. Transitions can leave us feeling untethered, but they also create opportunities to grow in ways we didn't expect. My role is to help you make sense of what is happening, recognize your strengths and move forward in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
My perspective has been shaped by my own life experiences. As a parent in a blended family and also the daughter of an immigrant who grew up in the U.S., I understand how family dynamics, expectations and competing responsibilities can influence the way we see ourselves and the choices we make. These experiences have deepened my appreciate for the complexities of parenting, relationships, expectations and finding your own path.
I believe that meaningful change can come from feeling understood, becoming more aware of yourself and having the support to make choices that align with the life you want to build.
