I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical) with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across child welfare, school-based, and inpatient behavioral health settings. I earned my degree from Florida State University and specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and life transitions. I focus on creating a supportive, respectful space where you can be yourself while building practical skills and confidence for everyday life.
My approach to therapy is empathetic, direct, and supportive. I focus on creating a safe, comfortable space where clients feel heard, understood, and able to be themselves without judgment. At the same time, I am honest and gently direct, helping guide conversations in a meaningful and purposeful way. I work to help clients make sense of their thoughts and emotions while offering practical tools they can use in their daily lives. My goal is for clients to feel supported in session and leave with greater clarity, confidence, and skills to move forward.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and low-pressure environment where the focus is on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We will review informed consent so you have a clear understanding of the process, your rights, and what to expect moving forward. A large part of the session is centered on building rapport and helping you feel comfortable, as well as beginning to explore your goals for therapy. This initial meeting is also an opportunity for both of us to determine if this feels like a good fit and a working relationship that will support you in reaching your goals.
