Great to meet you!

I view therapy as a space to build an understanding of yourself and to practice managing difficult experiences. I meet you where you are and bring intentional strategies and reflections to help disrupt unhealthy cycles and grow in the directions you want. I'm a clinical psychologist with focus areas in trauma recovery, anxiety, and eating disorders. Common concerns I treat include impact from childhood abuse and neglect, relational trauma, combat/military trauma, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, OCD, and disordered eating. I've worked over a decade with a range of concerns, including life transitions, relational distress, grief, and depression.

My approach to therapy

I’m a trauma informed therapist that brings genuineness and strategies to therapy. Our sessions will explore what a life worth living means to you and how to work through what is getting in the way. I tailor research backed approaches to your personal experiences to help learn, modify, and when appropriate, grieve what has been lost throughout life while working to change what you can. I respect how challenging it can be to come to therapy and provide support to do the heavy therapeutic work.

What you can expect from me

The goal for our first appointment is to build a foundation for our work together. I will learn about your concerns and stressors, and together we will create goals that will guide your course of therapy. I'm intentional about making the time devoted to therapy meaningful.
