Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Richmond, Virginia, specializing in treating PTSD and dissociation with adults and adolescents (14+). Many clients I work with are rebuilding a sense of felt safety and autonomy after relationships where their choices, voice, or boundaries were repeatedly undermined.

My approach to therapy

I’m a direct therapist, but I work gently and with intention. Trauma therapy is about slowing down, listening closely, and working within your capacity. We’ll move at a pace that prioritizes your safety and agency, especially if past relationships made it hard to trust your own instincts. Together, we’ll learn the cues of your nervous system when it comes to pacing, safety, and consent, because meaningful healing happens when your system feels respected.

I currently offer in-person sessions in Charlottesville, VA, with telehealth options throughout Virginia.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about helping you feel grounded, respected, and informed. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy now, what you’re hoping for, and any concerns you have about starting this work. You’re always in control of what you share, and it’s okay to keep things broad at first. My goal is that you leave the first session feeling oriented, supported, and clear about next steps.
