Great to meet you!

Reaching out for help is not easy. Taking this step towards emotional and mental wellness will also lead to improvements in your physical health. With over a decade of experience providing therapy to adults, children, and teens, I've learned how to listen and help my patients discover their strengths, that often have been hidden for many years.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative, holistic approach to mental health and emotional wellness. Our mind, body and spirit are intertwined, and when one area is out of balance, it can lead to imbalances in our other areas. I often describe my approach to therapy as being a passenger in your car, where you are the driver and you have asked me to come on this journey with you. Sometimes my patients know exactly where they want to go, while others are unsure of their destination. My job is to help my patients get to their destination, no matter how rocky or long that path may be. I will be there with you no matter which roads you decide to take.

What you can expect from me

During your first appointment, we will discuss what brought you here, complete a comprehensive assessment, and begin identifying that journey you are asking me come on with you. You set the pace to your therapy treatment. There are no requirements on how many sessions or how frequently we need to meet. Just as when we set out on a road trip, we may have a plan for where we need to get to but as often is the case, there are detours and delays. I will work with you to help you learn how to identify what the right speed is for you on each leg of your journey.
