Great to meet you!

You're not broken. You were just never taught how to take up space! I'm Jimiko and I help adults who were emotionally neglected as children stop abandoning themselves in relationships, work, and everyday life. You've spent your whole life showing up for everyone else. You can't say no, always the last priority or you numb with food, shopping, or screens. If any of this sounds familiar you're not weak, and you're not stuck. You're ready, and I can help. "The scars we can't see are the hardest to heal."

My approach to therapy

As a therapist my approach is compassionate therapy. I aim to instill hope and empowerment into those I serve. My objective is to make sure one understands how recovering their true healthy self is the road to healing. My goal is for my client to identify with themselves and learn to prioritize their needs and wants over others due to people pleasing, struggling to say no and wanting to be "nice." I want my clients to gain awareness and understand how important they are in this world!

What you can expect from me

After my sessions I like for clients to feel heard, understood and empowered. My clients often gain insight on how their childhoods are currently affecting them in their adult lives. In doing this, I create a warm open environment where clients are encouraged to be themselves and express their true thoughts and feelings without judgment.
