Great to meet you!

I am a warm, caring licensed clinical social worker. I will work with you to define and achieve your goals in an open, non-judgmental, supportive manner. I will provide a safe space for you to explore your needs in therapy.

My approach to therapy

I am a reflective listener, to make sure that I really hear and understand you. I consider mind-body-spirit-environment contributions to presenting issues. Therapy is putting together many different puzzle pieces to make a compete picture. I was trained primarily in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I specialize in resolving grief and loss and inspiring transformative growth.

What you can expect from me

You as the client are the expert in you: what's working and what's not in your life so far. I am present to help make discoveries and facilitate growth. Developing a shared agenda of realistic homework tasks to be done between sessions is typical of CBT work. Perhaps you are too overwhelmed for that right now. I believe strongly in getting to know each person as an individual with your own unique preferences and gifts. There are many different effective venues to promote healing.
