I am a Christian counselor in Lake Jackson, TX. I received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Houston Christian University in 2005. I have 18 years of experience helping people find relief and discover solutions to their life issues. I integrate Polyvagal, EMDR, Gottman, and Solution Focused therapies in addressing your specific needs.
My approach to counseling is to first help the client find relief by providing healthy tools to manage the symptoms. Secondly, to help the client identify the source of their issues. Finally, to I help my clients to resolve or minimize the source(s) causing their issues.
My clients leave counseling sessions with tools and resources that reduce the intensity of their mental health issues. Many sessions conclude with resolved negative incidences or traumas with most clients reporting a burden has been lifted, and they are feeling much lighter.
