Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Colombian-American. I was born and raised right here in Maryland and look forward to serving my local community through therapeutic services. For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about offering myself to help people that may need guidance or support. That internal drive is what fueled my spirit in pursuing a career in the mental health field, where I use my empathy, compassion, and problem-solving skills to help others find balance in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in utilizing the entire family as a team of players, all of whom have their own individual duties in creating and facilitating a healthy therapeutic process. I primarily use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, strengths-based support, parenting education, and solutions-focused brief therapy in my practice. Teamwork is the key to overcoming familial obstacles, and I believe with my support we can achieve the goals you have for yourself and your children.

What you can expect from me

My clients would describe me as approachable and open-minded but unafraid to challenge them when needed to achieve their overall goals. They can expect to take away new coping skills and strategies that will help them overcome their day to day struggles with mental health.
