Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Julia Davis, NCC, BCBT-SP,LCMHC, LPC,

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, I bring over six years of experience working with individuals facing severe mental illness, navigating crises, or involved in the justice system. My passion lies in supporting those in high-stress roles or life transitions—helping them move from survival mode to stability and empowerment.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in crisis intervention, trauma, mood disorders, and forensic mental health, including working with veterans and justice-involved populations. I’m also certified in Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention (BCBT-SP), which allows me to offer structured, evidence-based support for those facing suicidal thoughts or intense emotional distress.

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and solution-focused. Whether you're facing burnout, anxiety, depression, or just feeling stuck, my goal is to create a safe and affirming space for healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where your voice is heard and your experiences are validated. My goal is to help you gain insight, build coping skills, and develop practical strategies that fit your life and values. We’ll work together to reduce distress, increase emotional resilience, and help you feel more in control of your life.

I meet you where you are—whether you need short-term support or are ready for deeper work around past trauma or long-standing patterns. I also understand that life doesn’t stop between sessions, so I help clients apply what they learn in therapy to everyday situations.
