Great to meet you!

I’m deeply committed to helping people live fuller, more intentional lives. I bring a personable, compassionate, and often light-hearted presence into sessions, because feeling comfortable and understood is essential to meaningful work. Building trust and rapport is a priority for me, and I aim to create a space where you can be honest, curious, and fully yourself.

My professional background and education, including experience in teaching, shape a style that emphasizes understanding and practical application. Therapy with me often includes learning new skills, increasing self-awareness, and practicing what we explore between sessions—because insight becomes powerful when it’s used in real life. I specialize in supporting adults navigating mood and anxiety concerns, life transitions, and the process of creating a more balanced and values-driven life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in real-life application. I prioritize building comfort and trust early, creating a space that feels approachable and safe while still being intentional and focused. Sessions are conversational and reflective, with room for curiosity, insight, and meaningful discussion.

I primarily draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused approaches. This means we work on increasing self-awareness, understanding patterns, and clarifying what truly matters to you, while also identifying practical steps and skills that support change in everyday life. Therapy with me often includes reflection and practice between sessions, as growth is supported by applying insight into action. I specialize in supporting adults navigating mood and anxiety concerns, life transitions, and building lives that feel intentional.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on helping you feel comfortable, heard, and oriented. We’ll spend time getting to know what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—you set the pace.

You can expect a supportive, conversational environment with space for curiosity, clarity, and even a little humor when appropriate. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals, patterns, and what matters most to you, while also discussing what meaningful progress could look like moving forward. Many clients leave the first session with a clearer sense of direction and one or two practical takeaways to begin applying in everyday life.
