Great to meet you!

Psychotherapy can improve many aspects of one’s life. It can improve our relationship with ourselves, our family, and others.

Psychotherapy can also improve our quality of life by addressing past and current situations and by learning new skills for the future.

I welcome all adults, individuals, couples, and families, as well as members of the LGBTQI+ community to my practice. I have extensive experience working with U.S. Veterans and Active Duty Servicemembers.

My specialty areas of training and experience in psychotherapy include, but are not limited to, the treatment of the symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief, and adjustment to life changes.

I am a licensed clinical social worker. My academic and clinical training include master’s degrees in public health and social work. I also have a Ph.D in counseling and family therapy from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. I have been in practice for over two decades.

My approach to therapy

My treatment modalities include:

Gottman Therapy for Couples

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma (and Grief)

STAIR (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation)

What you can expect from me

I respect the time needed to feel comfortable enough to share important aspects of yourself and your life. It may happen in our first session, or it may take a while and that is okay. I look to create a caring and trusting space for you.
