Great to meet you!

Starting therapy and finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when life already feels stressful! With over six years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, including young children, adolescents, and adults.

I support clients in navigating a range of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship concerns, and student athletes balancing academic/social/athletic pressures. I also have experience supporting children/adolescents with ASD, ODD, ADHD, and other developmental or behavioral challenges, as well as supporting the parent/caregiver of the child/adolescent.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, where I specialized in working with children, youth, and families. I currently provide therapy services to clients in both New York and North Carolina.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a safe, supportive space where you can be open and honest without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what’s bringing you in, including those moments when you may feel stuck or unsure of how to move forward, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I use strengths-based approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindful techniques and coping strategies to help you gain deeper insight and self-understanding. My goal is to help you build resilience, feel more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges, and create a path forward that aligns with your values.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend about an hour getting to know each other. I’ll guide us through some intake questions to better understand what’s bringing you in, your background, and what you’re hoping to work on. You’ll have plenty of space to share at your own pace and ask questions along the way. We’ll talk through next steps together so you leave feeling supported and clear about how we can move forward.
