Great to meet you!

"Connection is why we're here; it is what gives purpose and meaning to our lives."--Brene Brown. My relationship with clients is the most important aspect of my practice, and my goal is to provide a space for clients to feel heard, supported, and accepted while they navigate life's challenges. I am curious, kind, and playful by nature, and I tend to be drawn to working with folks that are open-minded, creative, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and fellow explorers of inner and outer worlds.

My approach to therapy

As an artist, I understand words often fail to truly communicate the intensity of emotions that accompany tragedy and struggles in life. So, as a therapist, I enjoy accompanying talk therapy with creative, expressive, and mindfulness practices for increased insight and emotional expression. I am trained in EMDR, which can be helpful to use when words, memories, or emotions feel stuck. I also use Embodied Movement with my clients to help them feel more empowered and reconnect with their bodies.

What you can expect from me

I believe in clients' ability to grow, heal, and make the best choices for themselves, so our therapeutic work together will be individually tailored to your preferences and needs. Together, we will tap into your inner wisdom, power, and intuition while we explore how your past impacts your present and work towards building a better future. My hope is for clients to leave our sessions feeling seen, heard, and less alone with their pain, grief, and struggles.
