Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Perinatal Mental Health professional specializing in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions of motherhood. My work focuses on helping women navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and the emotional challenges that can arise during these seasons of life.

With over a decade of experience working with women, children, and families, I offer a compassionate, culturally responsive approach that honors each woman’s lived experience. This is a safe, affirming space for Black women and any mother seeking healing, balance, and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, direct, and compassionate. I use approaches such as EMDR, somatic work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients process trauma, release what feels stuck in the body, and reconnect with themselves. I provide a safe space where your experiences are honored, your challenges are understood, and your healing is prioritized. Whether you are preparing for birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or navigating the daily realities of motherhood, I’m here to walk with you as you find rest, balance, and joy.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, you will introduce me to you and discuss the issues that bring you to therapy. We will collaborate to create a plan that addresses each challenge and leads you to your personal goals. Thereafter, you will walk away from each session with tools, resources and practices to implement between sessions to help you get closer to your goals.
