Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon, and I have been dedicated to practicing therapy since 2004. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Portland State University, and over the past two decades, I have developed a deep passion for helping individuals navigate life’s complexities. My practice welcomes adults facing a wide array of challenges, with specialized expertise in areas including anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, PTSD/trauma, BPD, psychosis and life transitions. I believe that healing begins with connection, and my primary goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and encouraging space where you feel completely supported as you explore your life, past traumas, relationships, and your inner experience.

Outside of work, I like to go to the Clackamas river, hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends and singing, karaoke, and dancing.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, educational, and deeply compassionate. I view our work together as a partnership where I provide both the emotional support and the practical tools you need to thrive. Beyond holding space for your experiences, I focus on providing clear education and guidance to help you better understand the "why" behind your behaviors. By recognizing patterns and learning practical strategies, you will feel much better equipped to face life's challenges as they arise.

When I am not in the office, I recharge by connecting with nature and community—whether that means heading to the Clackamas River, hiking, traveling, spending time with family and friends, or embracing joy through singing, karaoke, and dancing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, our main priority is to begin building trust and establishing a comfortable rapport. We will talk gently about what brings you to therapy, look over what you hope to achieve, and address any questions or anxieties you might have about the process. You can expect a supportive environment where we set the pace together—there is never any pressure to share more than you are ready to. By the end of our first meeting, we will have the foundation of a collaborative plan designed to help you build the relief, balance, and growth you are looking for.
