Great to meet you!

Kelly Jones, LPCC, works with adolescents and adults utilizing Cognitive Behavioral and Narrative Therapy lenses, while focusing on societal, structural, and generational dynamics. Kelly loves engaging with clients exactly where they are in life, so together they can collect data on patterns and choices that impact the client’s desired outcomes and success. Expect to be challenged and empowered in session by a warm, Central-Kentucky accent and cool-mom vibe.

My approach to therapy

Kelly believes that all clients are first and foremost human beings who are doing the best they can with the knowledge that has been imparted on them, within the structures where they exist, and with the energy and resources they have. She uses metaphors, humor, and social data/research to engage with Clients and acknowledge how their brains work to help them make the best decisions in life.

What you can expect from me

Kelly helps Clients clean out their overwhelmed mental closets they have been ignoring for years (yes, you know that junk drawer!). Together you will make "discard/keep" piles for clothing, find your old purse with $5 in the side pocket, and then put what you actually need back inside neatly...so you can find the things that help you look and feel your best without having to search through a mess each day just to get out the door.
