I believe that life is all about perspective and the way we react to problems. Our trials and tribulations are opportunities for us to grow into stronger individuals. When challenges arise, most people ask, "Why?" I encourage my clients to change their mentality by asking, "How?"—how can I use this to grow?" With 8 years of sobriety and personal experience battling my own challenges, I know how helpful therapy can be in helping a person rebuild their life and become the person they want to be.

Growing up, my mother would say, “Treat people like gold.” Sometimes gold can be devalued, lost, and tarnished, but it still has worth, is precious, and can shine. People are the same. Through the partnership of therapy, I hope to assist people in remembering their worth and becoming their best self. To that partnership, I bring 4+ years of experience working as a mental health therapist, many years serving rural congregations, and a lifetime of working the family farm as well as other odd jobs. My experience has helped me get to know people of all backgrounds and understand the nuance of a variety of situations.
